대마 밀반입 홍정욱 전 의원 딸 구속영장 기각 - 한겨레
변종 대마를 인천공항을 통해 밀반입하다 적발된 홍정욱 전 한나라당(자유한국당 전신) 의원(49)의 첫째 딸에 대해 검찰이 청구한 구속영장이 기각됐다.
이진석 인천지법 영장전담판사는 30일 마약류 관리에 관한 법률 위반 혐의로 구속영장이 청구된 홍 전의원의 장녀 홍아무개(18)양에 대해 영장을 기각했다. 이 판사는 “주거가 일정하고, 증거 인멸 및 도주의 염려가 없다. 초범이고 소년인 점 등을 고려했다”고 영장 기각 이유를 밝혔다.
홍양은 지난 27일 오후 5시40분께 미국발 여객기를 타고 인천국제공항을 통해 입국하면서 대마 카트리지 등 변종 대마를 밀반입하려 한 혐의를 받고 있다. 여객기를 타고 하와이 호놀룰루 공항을 출발한 홍양은 변종 대마를 자신의 여행용 가방 등에 숨겨 국내로 들어오다가 인천공항세관에 적발된 것으로 전해졌다.
홍 전 의원은 영화배우 남궁원씨(본명 홍경일)의 장남으로, 제18대 국회의원을 지냈다. 2003년~2007년 헤럴드미디어 대표이사, 2007년~2012년 헤럴드미디어 회장직을 역임했다.
